France, Fami.2ly.3, Fi.2lm

In the Philippines in the early 80s, my dad purchased a Nikon FE, which he used to shoot my baby photos. Life got busy with three more daughters and the camera sat unused in a drawer for many years. After finding and refurbishing it, I began to use it in high school and my love of photography blossomed.

In 2013 we took a family trip to France visiting Paris, Giverny, Versailles, and Mont Saint-Michel. I loaded up the FE with Portra and made portraits of my sisters in the gloomy fall light.
