Shot for Christie’s 2019 auction Masterpieces in Miniature: Ancient Engraved Gems formerly in the G. Sangiorgi Collection.

This collection of masterfully carved intaglios and cameos from as early as 16th century BC was a challenge to shoot as most pieces measure smaller than three centimeters. My lighting treatment and techniques were subsequently used for sales in New York and London.
